Personal branding photography is built for people whose face is part of their business — founders, consultants, coaches, creators and freelancers who need a set of images that work across a website, a LinkedIn profile, a pitch deck and social content, all from one session.
I photograph one client at a time, which means the 45 minutes stay focused entirely on you and the brand you are building. We plan the session around how you actually present yourself professionally, not a generic template, and I direct throughout so the photos look confident rather than stiff.
A session is DKK 1,000, and includes a fully edited gallery delivered within one to two weeks — enough variety to cover a headshot, a few lifestyle-style working shots, and images with breathing room for text overlays or website banners.
A branding session has to do more work than a personal portrait. The images need to communicate trust, competence and personality quickly, often to someone who has never met you. That means variety matters — close headshots, mid-length working shots, and a few wider environmental frames that give context to what you do.
I plan for that mix before we shoot, so you are not left with forty-five near-identical headshots at the end. We move through a few setups and locations within the session so your final gallery actually functions as a toolkit, not just a photoset.
Sluseholmen's clean waterfront architecture and Nordic lines give a modern, minimal backdrop that works especially well for tech, design and consulting brands. Copenhagen's city centre — around Strøget, Gammel Strand and the Marble Church — offers a more classic, established feel if your brand leans traditional or corporate.
For a warmer, more approachable tone, Frederiksberg's gardens work well for coaches, therapists and wellness brands, while Christianshavn's canals suit creative freelancers who want a bit of character in the background without it overpowering the shot.
Most people I photograph for branding purposes have never had professional photos taken outside of a passport booth, and that discomfort is completely normal. I direct every setup specifically — how to stand, where to place your weight, what to do with your hands when you are not holding anything — so the photos read as natural confidence rather than a forced smile.
We also build in working shots: typing, holding a coffee, mid-conversation, looking off camera. These tend to feel far more comfortable for first-timers than a straight-on headshot, and they round out a gallery that a straight headshot alone cannot.
Founders launching a company page, consultants updating a LinkedIn profile that has not been touched in years, creators who need a face to put behind their content, and freelancers pitching new clients who need to look established rather than improvised. It is also popular among people simply switching careers and wanting photos that match the direction they are heading.
DKK 1,000 for 45 minutes at one or two locations, with a fully edited gallery covering a range of shots suitable for LinkedIn, a website, a portfolio and social media. Editing is clean and natural — no heavy retouching, just consistent, professional colour and skin work.
Message me on Instagram at shutter.optique, or by email or phone, and tell me a little about your work and where the photos will be used. I will suggest a location and a shot list that fits your brand, and we take it from there.

Good to know
A headshot session focuses on one strong close-up look. Personal branding sessions include that plus working shots and environmental images, giving you a broader toolkit for a website or social media.
Wear what you would actually wear to meet a client, and bring one backup option. Solid colours and simple textures photograph more cleanly than busy patterns.
Yes, a laptop, notebook, product or tool relevant to your work often makes environmental shots feel more authentic. Bring anything you think fits.
Not at all, most of my branding clients are in the same position. I direct every setup so the session stays comfortable even if this is entirely new to you.
You will receive a curated, fully edited gallery with enough variety across setups and framing to cover a LinkedIn profile, a website and several months of social content.
