Christianshavn's canals and quiet streets are made for walking shots, with houseboats and cobblestones giving every frame texture. Nyhavn works well for movement too, especially away from the main strip where the crowds thin out. Amager Strandpark is ideal in warmer months for barefoot, sun-lit, unhurried lifestyle photos by the water.

Sluseholmen's waterfront architecture gives a cleaner, more modern backdrop if you want something less classically Copenhagen and more Nordic-minimal. Tivoli after dark brings colour and atmosphere for a livelier, more playful set, particularly in autumn and winter when the lights are up.

Even candid-looking photos need some direction, otherwise you end up self-conscious and it shows. I give small prompts throughout — walk toward me slowly, look at your phone for a second, glance back over your shoulder — that create a natural moment rather than a forced one.
